What denominations are Tim Cards available in?

Our Tim Cards are available in denominations from $2 - $100.

What is the minimum purchase quantity?

When purchasing Tim Cards through our Corporate Tim Card Program, the minimum order is 25 cards. If purchasing less than 25 cards, please visit a Tim Hortons restaurant.

Are Tim Cards available in French?

Yes, and they can be redeemed at any participating Tim Hortons restaurant in Canada or the U.S.

Is there an expiry date on Tim Cards?

Tim Cards do not have an expiry date on them.

Are carriers available for gift giving?

Carriers are available upon request (no additional cost).

Purchasing Tim Cards

How can I purchase Tim Cards?

If you are purchasing less than 25 Tim Cards, please visit a Tim Hortons restaurant. If you are ordering more than 25 Tim Cards, there are 2 options available for ordering Tim Cards for your corporate program. You can complete our online order form or contact us directly to place your order.

  1. Online order form; Using our online order form will ensure accurate and timely confirmation of your order by our Tim Card team. Your order will be confirmed within 2 business days and no payment is required at this time.
  2. Contact Tim Card Corporate Program to place your order please call us at 905-339-6115 locally or 1-800-590-5304, press 1 and then enter ext. 26115 for more information.

Do I get any type of confirmation regarding my order?

Yes. An order Confirmation will be sent by e-mail to confirm your order, amount, payment type and it will also state your activation number for your order.

What is an activation number?

An activation number is a unique number that is supplied to you in the confirmation email. This number allows you to activate your cards by calling our Tim Card team with your activation number.

What if I can't find my email with the activation number?

Call 905-339-6115 or 1-800 590-5304 extension 26115 and we will resend the order confirmation email to you. This is to ensure that the right party received the cards and is activating them.

Are the cards sent with any monetary value on them?

No. We will only load the cards with the value that you ordered once you have received your cards and call to activate them.

How do I activate the cards?

When you receive your Tim Cards please call 905-339-6115 or 1-800 590-5304 extension 26115 and state your company name and activation code and your cards will be loaded with the monetary denomination that you ordered.

Are there any service fees associated with the purchase of Tim Hortons Tim Cards?

We do not apply any service fees or extra charges. Our Tim Cards are sold at face value and no tax is applicable on them.

Can I pay for Tim Hortons Tim Cards by credit card?

Yes. We accept Visa or MasterCard. The other methods of payment are certified cheque, regular company cheque, Wire Transfer or Electronic Fund Transfer. When you receive your order, your receipt and invoice will be in the package.

Note: If you are making payment by cheque we will not be able to activate your cards until the cheque has been received and cleared (five business days from when we receive the cheque).

Can I get an invoice to generate payment?

An invoice will be sent along with the Tim Cards. If payment has been made by credit card, your copy of the transaction will be attached to the invoice. If an invoice is required prior to payment please call 905-339-6115 or 1 800-590-5304 ext 26115 and an invoice will be emailed or faxed to you.

Do the cards have to be pre-paid before you ship them?

No. All cards are shipped within 3 -5 business days from the time you place your order, regardless of payment type.

What is the turnaround time?

You can expect to receive the Tim Cards within 3 - 5 business days after your order is placed.

How do I get the Tim Cards?

Once you have placed your order we will ship out the Tim Cards via complimentary shipping. Expedited shipping to one address is available for an additional charge.

Can I pick up the Tim Cards on the same day I place the order?

Pick up is available for orders after two business days from date of order from the Oakville Head Office. Although the order is picked up you will still need to call the Tim Card line to have your cards activated. 905-339-6115 or 1 800-590-5304 ext 26115.

Can I return any unused Tim Cards?

All Tim Card sales are final. We will not accept any returns.

Use and Communication Guidelines

Our company would like to run a promotion using Tim Hortons Tim Cards. How can I do that?

We do not consent to Tim Cards being used in consumer promotions or programs with conditional offers.

Can I use Tim Hortons logos and/or images on my materials?

Please note that we do not allow for the use of our logos, trademarks, or images on any correspondence or promotional material. This is because use and reproduction of Tim Hortons logos and trademarks is likely to mislead the public into thinking that your company has an authorized relationship with Tim Hortons. Please be aware that such conduct may be an infringement of Tim Hortons trade mark rights.

What are the advertising requirements, if any?

As noted above, we do not allow for the use of our logos, trademarks, or images on any correspondence or promotional material. Please refer to our Brand & Logo Usage Policy for further explanation.

Can I have a photo or mock up of the Tim Card?

As noted above, we do not permit the use of any Tim Hortons images on any correspondence or promotional material. Any reproduction of the Tim Cards is strictly prohibited by law.

Can I have my company's logo printed on Tim Hortons Tim Cards?

We are unable to print your logo on Tim Cards. They are pre-printed and pre-packaged at the same time for security purposes and any markings on the Tim Cards other than the production specifications will render them null and void.

Brand and Logo Usage Policies

Business Gifts:

If your program involves gift-giving as a gesture of good will to your employees or corporate customers with no promotional tie-in, the use of Tim Hortons Tim Card is allowed, subject to Tim Hortons prior legal and brand approval. Please note that the use of the Tim Hortons name in an accompanying letter may be permitted, subject to Tim Hortons prior legal and brand approval. The use of the Tim Hortons logos or trademarks is prohibited.

Employee Rewards:

If your program involves rewarding employees or corporate customers, the use of Tim Hortons Tim Card is allowed, subject to Tim Hortons prior legal and brand approval. Please note that the use of the Tim Hortons name may be permitted, subject to Tim Hortons prior legal and brand approval. The use of the Tim Hortons logos or trademarks is prohibited.

Consumer Promotions:

Please note that we do not consent to Tim Hortons Tim Card being used in consumer promotions. The use of the Tim Hortons name, logos, and trademarks in any consumer communications is prohibited. This is because the use of Tim Hortons logos and trademarks is likely to mislead the public into thinking that your company is authorized to enter into a promotion of our products when there is no relationship between your company and Tim Hortons. Please be aware that such conduct may be an infringement of Tim Hortons trademark rights.
