Seasonal positions for June, July and August are available in all Foundation camps in the areas of :

Camp Programming

Program Coordinators

Program Coordinators are responsible for planning, scheduling and evaluating programs as well as supervising employees. We hire a number of different program coordinators in each of our camps. Requirements common to all Coordinator positions are:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • NLS certification
  • Experience directing, supervising and evaluating employees
  • Experience designing, coordinating, evaluating and maintaining high quality, camper focused programs
  • Valid driver's license and driver's abstract

Youth Leadership Program

There are three types of positions needed for this program. Requirements common to all three positions are:

  • Minimum 19 years of age
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and operating practices

Outdoor Pursuits

All outdoor pursuits staff must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Wilderness First Aid certification (or equivalent 40+ hour course)
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and operating practices
  • Demonstrated ability / competency in area for which one was hired

Health Care

Food Services

Each camp hires a full Food Services team made up of cooks, prep cooks and dishwashers, responsible for preparing and serving meals and snacks for 140-200 people every day. Additional requirements are:

  • Experience in the food service industry

Maintenance

Each camp hires seasonal groundskeepers to help with the maintenance of the grounds and gardens. Camp sites range from 50 to 400 acres. Additional requirements are:

  • Experience with lawn care and gardening is an asset

Housekeeping

Housekeeping employees are needed in each camp to clean and do laundry. Additional requirements are:

  • Experience in the hotel or resort industry is an asset.
