Biography

David F. Clanachan
Chief Operations Officer, United States and International

David F. Clanachan was appointed Chief Operations Officer, United States and International in March 2008. 

Mr. Clanachan joined The TDL Group Corp. in 1992 and held various positions in the Operations Department including Vice President, Operations - Western Ontario.  In August 2001, he was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, Training, Operations Standards and Research & Development, and was accountable for the development of new product concepts/improvements and the direction of the Training Centre. 

At the age of 14, Mr. Clanachan took interest in Tim Hortons and worked at store level in customer service.  He eventually went on to manage multiple stores while attending the University of Windsor.

Currently, Mr. Clanachan is the Tim Hortons operations lead in the joint venture with Aryzta AG, formerly IAWS.  He is also a member of the Canadian Hospitality Foundation Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Policy Advisory Board at the University of Guelph - School of Hospitality and Tourism.

Mr. Clanachan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.
