Biographies

Don was named Executive Vice President, Administration in 1995. With accountability for Human Resources, Distribution, Legal, Real Estate and Construction and Manufacturing, Don worked closely with the Board of Directors.  In 2008 Don was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer and became a member of the Board of Directors.

Under Paul's leadership, TDL and the Tim Hortons chain have achieved outstanding growth and success. Tim Hortons has emerged as an industry leader by expanding its menu choices, transforming store designs and introducing par baking. Throughout this evolution, the chain has retained its community roots and commitment to friendly service, fresh product and great value.

Tim Horton always considered his good fortune in the proper perspective. He was modestly confident about his abilities, was approachable, generous and considerate. His memory will always be held dear by family, friends, players and business associates alike.

Mr. Joyce's dedication and commitment to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation earned him the Gary Wright Humanitarian Award in 1991, presented periodically in recognition of the outstanding contributions to the betterment of community life throughout Canada.
