Registering your Tim Card gives you access to valuable card
features such as

To register your Tim Card you must activate it first. You can activate your Tim Card at any participating Tim Hortons restaurant by deciding on the dollar amount you wish to be loaded on to the Tim Card and asking your server to load it.
Protect the balance on your card from loss or theft.
If your registered Tim Card has been lost or stolen, please call 1-866-TIMCARD (846-2273) immediately. Upon verification of your card, we can freeze your remaining balance and transfer that balance to a replacement card that will be mailed to you.
Reload your Tim Card online using a credit card.
With a registered Tim Card, you can conveniently reload funds online using your credit card (MasterCard and VISA), making a one-time reload or setting up a recurring event using the Auto Reload feature.
The flexible Auto-Reload program allows you to select the frequency that funds can be added to your Tim Card.

Multiple card balance merge.
Received several Tim Cards as gifts? Registering your main Tim Card allows you to take the full balance of one or more cards and move it to another, at any time, provided the combined balance does not exceed $100.
View your most recent account activity.
Your account activity report will show you up to eleven of the most recent transactions on your card, including the restaurant number and the time the transaction occurred and provide you with information about your online reload activity for the past 4 months.
