Dining Room Ping-Pong

Play a doubles match before dinner.

Materials:

1 9x5 ft. piece of plywood
White and green paint
Clamps
Masking tape
Paint brush
Paint roller
6-inch tall net (with mounting kit)
Screwdriver
Screws
Paddles
Ping Pong Balls

Step 1:

Lay down the piece of plywood. Use the paint roller and the green paint to give the wood a solid colour. Let dry.

Step 2:

Mark the middle of the table on all sides (at 4.5 ft. and 2.5 ft.) Use the paintbrush and white paint to connect the marks, forming a white cross. Let dry.

Step 3:

While you wait, serve yourself a fresh cup of Tims NEW Single Serve French Vanilla Cappuccino or NEW Steeped Tea.

Step 4:

Install the 6-inch net using screwdriver and screws.

Step 5:

Indoor Hammock

Take hanging out to a whole new level.

Materials:

A woven hammock
2 lag hooks
2 2x4 pieces of wood cut to 2 ft. long
12 3.5" drywall screws
A drill
Large pliers

Step 1:

Give yourself a boost of energy before starting construction with a fresh cup of Tims NEW Single Serve French Vanilla Cappuccino or NEW Steeped Tea.

Step 2:

Measure and mark the center of the 2x4’s. Drill pilot holes for the lag hooks into the wood on a slight angle (co-linear with the force exerted by the hammock). Use drill bits slightly smaller than the shaft of the hooks.

Step 3:

Plan and measure your hammock experience: how far apart the ends should be, how high off the ground the hammock should sit. Ensure the 2x4’s are properly arranged, taking into account hammock sag and easy entry.

Step 4:

Screw in the lag hooks to the 2x4’s, ensuring they don’t stick all the way through the wood.

Step 5:

Screw in your 2x4 hangers into your preferred positions on the wall, staggering them slightly apart. Hang your hammock and test it out against your weight. Once ready, start hanging out.
