The Operations Representative position lays the foundation to pursue various career paths at the corporate level within our Operations Management Training Program!
My experience "on the road" has proved to be very valuable on my resume. I learned that working as part of a team is very rewarding and that amazing things can be accomplished in a few short weeks by hardworking, dedicated people. I learned to think quickly on my feet, how to adapt to different situations and that there is always an opportunity to learn more. My Operations Representative experience has enabled me to work in a variety of roles; Corporate Trainer, Corporate Store Manager and as a member of the Quality Assurance Department. I had the opportunity to travel to places that I would have never visited and have made friendships that are still going 10 years strong. I will always look back at my time "on the road" with fond memories.
Kelly
Quality Assurance Representative
Starting as an Operations Representative at the TDL Group was the best thing that I could have done. This position provided me with the opportunity to learn about the business and the operations "from the ground up". I firmly believe that it would have been difficult to gain such valuable exposure to so many areas of the operation in other capacities. The knowledge and the skills that I acquired while on the Store Opening team have been instrumental throughout my career at TDL which has included the Training department and most recently Field Services in Human Resources. These skills have allowed me to do my job with confidence and are skills that I will be able to use throughout the rest of my career at TDL.
Shaun
Field Services Specialist
The job position of an Operations Representative was a great way to enter a large organization like the TDL Group Corp. I had just come out of University not knowing what I was going to do. travel, work or go back to school. I traveled across the country to open new store locations (all expenses paid), participated in special projects and at the same time saved some money. The experiences I had were invaluable; I learned the true meaning of team work and dedication to a brand. I joint the company not knowing what I would like to pursue and came out with a career
Erin
District Manager
Being an Ops Rep helped to teach me the basic skills needed to be able to move within TDL. Without my time "on the road", there would be a very large gap in my knowledge base and I would not be able to interact with the franchisee group as effectively today. Because Store Owners know that I've worked in stores and that I know how their operations should and can run, they have more respect for my solutions as they know that I've been in the same or similar situation that they are calling me with. Being in the Ops Rep role also introduced me to the various different departments within our company that have an Operations base, but that play more of a support role for Operations.
