Community Leaders Program

We support our schools and community-based organizations through the Community Leaders Program in an effort to build capacity and drive positive changes in the communities where our campers live. The Community Leaders Program provides students with two leadership-focused camp experiences each year with ongoing engagement with our camp staff between visits. For more information please contact the camps.

Collaborative Programming

We work with a number of agencies to provide camp-based programming components in line with national and provincial initiatives including:

  • Right to Play - PLAY Program:
The Promoting Life Skills in Aboriginal Youth (PLAY) program partners with 88 First Nations communities and urban Aboriginal organizations across Canada. PLAY delivers safe, fun and educational programming for Aboriginal children and youth.
  • Outside Looking In:
A high school accredited dance program that provides opportunities to Indigenous youth and their communities to engage in long-term intensive education through dance.
  • Breakfast Club of Canada - Leadership Camps:
The Club’s leadership camps are a fun and empowering experience for young leaders between the ages of 10 and 14, who have distinguished themselves through their commitment to and involvement with their peers, school and the community.

Because of camp…®

Because of camp…®

“I’ve seen an increase in their sense of school community and the quality of collaborative problem solving when there is a conflict within the group. There is also a noticeable increase in their interest to help each other and reach our broader community.”
