“If it wasn't for the bursary, I never would have gone to such a reputable school because of the high tuition costs. The bursary helped me focus more on my studies and less on how I was going to afford my schooling. None of this would have happened if it were not for the Tim Horton Children's Foundation and restaurant owners who sent me to camp. All a child needs is a chance to grow.”

“The Bursary has helped me with my school finances in so many different ways. It has given me the determination, willpower and self-motivation to pursue a degree in English and potentially a Masters. It has given me a state of financial security that I was never able to experience before, and that kind of feeling is simply amazing.”

“The Carolee House Bursary helped me achieve the goals I had set for myself. It allowed me to continue my schooling without worrying about finances. I was able to focus all my energy on goals that are important to me. I'm proud of where I am and it’s with great sincerity that I thank you for believing in me, and giving me a chance.”
