Wayne C. Sales
Director

Wayne C. Sales has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SUPERVALU Inc. ("SUPERVALU"), a grocery retailer and distributor, since June 2010, and a director of SUPERVALU since 2006. Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer, and then as Vice-Chairman, of Canadian Tire Corporation Limited, a Toronto Stock Exchange-listed retail, financial services and petroleum company.He served as Vice-Chairman of Canadian Tire until June 30, 2007 following his tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer, a position that he held from 2000 to 2006. Prior to 2000, Mr. Sales held positions as Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President, Marketing at Canadian Tire Retail, a subsidiary of Canadian Tire. Mr. Sales is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.
